Colour in the darkness
The nights are drawing in very early these days – I’ll have to get a little braver with the tripod-in-public scenario (even though it mortifies my soul) if I want to do regular outfit posts. But here are these, in my house, after dark with flash (which I hate) and with make-up not looking quite as it did when I started out – I swear. . .

Credits are as follows: brown and gold pumps (totally battered and in need of replacing) from Office; skin coloured tights from Marks & Spencer (they are really natural, a lovely tan colour but they only last about two wears before they need to be thrown out, which isn’t great), purple dress from American Apparel, gold chain uh the chain from my Mark Jacobs handbag, inspired by Indiana‘s work (!), cream cardigan from Penneys, gold leather handbag by Diane von Furstenberg, gold watch from Asos, specs by Specsavers. Hi, I’m enjoying your posts. Big congratulations on your new blog. This dress looks really cute, and it looks like it might be comfy too.

Hi Coastal, thanks a mil – the dress is indeed quite comfortable, although if you wear it with a slip (as I once, mistakenly, did), it rides up something terrible. Otherwise very comfy and available in loads of colour combos. Pity Dov Charney’s such a misogynist, I feel guilty whenever I shop in American Apparel.
