Have I made a terrible mistake?!
I feel a little like Molly Ringwald. It’s the bright colours, floral patterns and undercut that are combining to make me feel this way (pics later). I did a serious wardrobe overhaul yesterday, and am suddenly thinking that I may have to do another, and ditch everything that even resembles 1980s fashion as, combined with my hair, well. . . you can imagine.
This morning I met Ana of Ripped Knees (more on her, and that, later) and felt inspired to downgrade my style, if that’s the right expression. She was rocking a pair of black shiny leggings, an oversized white vest (from a Dunnes men’s three-pack, she told me) with a sequined waistcoat, grey cardigan and boots. Slick, slick, slick. Also am yearning for her oversized geek chic classes. Check ‘er out.
In the meantime, I’ll be the one in the corner wearing loads of neon and lusting over Rob Lowe.
