The longest week of 2009
That’s what this week has most definitely been, for me. What did I accomplish? Professionally: one feature, two future features, another possible two features. All thrilling (watch this space, and so on). Personally: one (justifiably) scared man, one virtual argument that kind of lost its point halfway through, one drive to Ballaghaderreen and another drive back, a purple haze and not too much else.
And to come? Tomorrow a day in the office, a visit to the estate agents’ to get one step closer to closing the deal, a trip to the bank to lodge a cheque that, sadly, doesn’t belong to me and a trip to Harvey Nichols to meet Scott (as we are both worldly bloggers, I feel like I can call him by his first name; Scott, you may call me Rosemary, or Ro, if you prefer, although I don’t answer to Rosie).

A demain, as Garance (the other half of Scott) might say. I’ll leave you to contemplate the joys of Friday with a piece from Les Choristes, which, if you haven’t already, you should see. Such amazing music; such an amazing film. I use the word “amazing” too much, I know, but we all have our foibles.

Ah, say hi to Scott for me! I can’t be there unfortunately as I’m home in Cork and all the best things happen in Dublin, but I’m looking forward to reading all about it!
