Any help making a decision?

Do I want these boots? This may not sound like a huge predicament, but I’m seriously torn. On the one hand, they’re only £50 and, on the other, I have about eight pairs of black boots and am terrible at walking in heels.

BootsThey remind me of the Olsen twins or various cool bloggers I’ve seen in similar; I can see myself rocking leggings, a long draped tunic top and a blazer, plus some studs thrown in somewhere… buy them here if you’re interested, but first advise me!

I always work on the principle that if you’re not too sure about the boots or the shoes you should buy them anyway. :)
I recently moved desks and found EIGHT pairs of shoes under the old one. They’re now in a filing box in the boot of my car.
There’s always those gel inserts to make things a bit more comfortable for walking? You can make it an art. The trick is to grin like a lunatic and stride confidently even if you’re in complete agony.

Your advice is near insane – I should get them, but you found 8 pairs of shoes under your desk you didn’t even know about?! That said, I love it! I’m almost sold.

Do. Before the Budget from Hell we’ve all been warned about. No Christmas shoes, after that. No idea how many pairs I have that I never wear but I know I’ve never spent more than €150 on a pair of boots.
I bought a fantastic pair of red snakeskin-effect platform-soled Mary Jane-type stilettoes in the Nine West sale last year. Have worn them twice. But they’re fab.
The Jimmy Choo range for H&M looks unwearable and they’re for women with gorgeous feet. But I covet them anyway.

Sooner or later your instatiable love of shoes/boots with enormous heels is going to mean that you have to learn to walk in them. It’s a long & often painful task but very worthwhile. We have to suffer to look good at times. Learning to walk in crippling shoes is part of the process. Go for it.

And maybe invest in some of this http://www.peachesandbooboo.com/save_feet.html it won’t stop the pain but it will keep it at bay for a good while longer & reduces rubbing & especially stinging on the balls of your feet. Either that or I believe supermodels soak their feet in vodka, but that’s a waste of good vodka in my opinion.
