Diamonds are forever, but not if you drop them down the drain
That is not something that I have done, or plan on doing, I swear. It’s just an example. It happened “a friend”. Now, to the point: James Bond! But of course, don’t act like you didn’t guess that already. People are clever, I’m convinced they’re clever. I know people say they’re not, but . . . I have faith. So, Jimmy B! The other day as I attempted to clean our hellish conservatory, I realised that I love the Bond themes. I even love the Madonna one. (I know, I know, controversial.)
So it stands to reason that there’s very little I’d like to do more than to go to the National Concert Hall for a show dedicated to James Bond theme tunes! (I feel like I should be in Little Britain, going, “I’ll write the feeem tune, sing the feeem tune, play the feeem tune. . .”) There’s something about the Concert Hall that just screams entertainment to me (maybe because I used to go to Music in the Classroom, witnessed the amazingness that was – and is – Cecilia Bartoli in that very room), and movie theme tunes remind me of, well, movies. So yes, I’ll let you entertain me. Tickets range from €20-€30 depending on your standing. You know what I mean.

I love a bit of terrible, terrible recent Madonna, so I do.
You know that song where she raps in her mock British accent about doing pilates? That everyone hated? That radio stations would cut before it got to that part? Yeah, that rap bit is one of my favourite moments in music – even though I love music, especially rap. It’s sort of like loving food and loving Come Dine With Me. You see these awful, awkward dinner parties with rubbish food and think “Sheesh, I could have a dinner party. It would be amazing. Well, it would be a bit better than that.”
I could do a rap…

Hi Zee! You SHOULD do a rap. Now that you’re doing pictures of yourself an’ all, you could do a video of you rapping about interiors or something. If Madonna can rap about pilates, you can rap about interiors… and yes I love that song too. I used to feel ashamed but you have liberated me! Now, do you like Music, with Ali G in the video? Because I hate that. It’s the only Madonna song I truly cannot stand. Ugh.

No, yuck, never liked that one. I’ve been inspired by this Madonna talk and am at this very moment watching Give It 2 Me on Youtube! It’s really just an awesome Pharrell Williams tune that Madonna almost wrecks by being on it. And again, the fact that it teeters on the brink of suckdom is what I love about it!
