Luella ceases trading
It’s a sad day for fashion (I said “for fashion”, I am in no way equating this with a tsunami or what have you . . .). Why couldn’t the banks have taken Matthew Williamson instead, who is stuck in an eternity of butterfly boho boringness?
The whimsy, the fun, the colours, the youth, the vibrance – Luella, I’ll miss you. If, that is, the label actually goes anywhere and isn’t rescued in the meantime. I’d say watch this space but I’m unlikely to have the most up to date news so, eh, let me know if you hear anything.
