Lauduree macaroons + Marni = I DIE
And I hate that phrase. But Ladurée macaroons, since they came to Brown Thomas, have been occupying my every thought – the flavours, the sweet, tough candy outing, the chewy macaroon inner layer… yum. So amazing. And now, one of my favourite designers, Marni, has collaborated with the macaroon company to create a limited edition set of the macaroons, starting at €14.90 for a box of 6.
And, I have to say, these macaroons would really suit me – they’d go especially well with the Marni bucket bag I pilfered from my sister on my New York visit.
Mine isn’t canary yellow, but it is beautiful and fits so much in it, which is pretty much the one thing I look for in a bag. Now, if only I looked like Ms Diaz while toting it around town . . .
