Time for a dye job?

Whatever about this photograph makes me love it also makes me think of candy floss and My Little Pony - neither of which are particularly objectionable, but I thought you might be fascinated by this wee look into my brain. No? Shocked.

Perhaps you’ll go pink then? After then next red-hair-colouring?

Ah I don’t think so, although the Sunday Times Style had a feature on silver hair which made me yearn for a bit of metal! Going in on Friday to get my red re-done and the locks chopped, so will report back after that!

Silver would be really interesting. Hard to pull off, but if you’ve got the right shade, it’d be so amazing. Plus, it would complement your complete wardrobe (or what we’ve seen so far).
I’m continuing to really enjoying your blog and it is inspiring me to rethink some of my own fashion choices – for the better!

Right, you and I, we need to get out of each other’s brains! I was thinking the exact same thing, but however I realise I am just not brave enough. Sticking with the white look for now…
Check out Lady GaGa’s peachy pink hair in the Bad Romance video, if I was going to dye mine, I’d be heading that way, think it would suit you!

I’m not sure about the pink, too many Stefani references (and now Gaga, vom) but I do love the silver. I’m gonna stick with pillarbox red for now, but you should try the silver, even try a toner, I did a pinky one like Gaga a while ago when I was platinum and it was COOL but only lasted about a week so you’d be fairly safe to give it a go! I’ll give you a fiver if you do!

Coastal, thanks a mil for the praise and glad you’re enjoying the blog, I need to get back to doing a bit more personal fashiony stuff though, rather than just writing feature after feature – all will be changing on January 1st anyway so hopefully you can enjoy me in two formats
I’m so vain, I bet I think this blog is about me, wha?!

A fiver? Done.
But seriously, I asked the hairdresser about this and she said it would be very difficult to get the peach tones out of my hair after – did you find that?

No, mine just faded right out. I had it a very white blonde, put in the peachy toner on top of that and it lasted about 10 days or maybe two weeks, but I didn’t notice any peachy residue after that!

Brilliant, thanks Rosemary, going to give it a go in the new year…
